Marine Sports

I like the ocean. I like floating around on a swim ring, but I especially like marine sports such as snorkeling and scuba diving. However, I used to be afraid of the ocean. This is because my father and I used to watch shark movies such as Jaws, and I was scared of sharks and even more afraid of fish coming close to me. Although I had always wanted to try marine sports, I had been unable to do so for a long time. However, my fear of the sea disappeared after I went scuba diving with friends in the Japanese ocean four years ago in the fall. But four years ago, when I went scuba diving in the Japanese sea with friends, my fear of the water vanished.

When I first decided to go scuba diving with my friends, I was excited, but when it came time to put on the oxygen tank and learn how to handle the equipment and breathe, I became more and more scared. Nevertheless, despite my fears, I soon fell in love with the vast, blue, and silent world of the sea. The fish were so beautiful and so cute that I don't know why I was so scared of them. 40 minutes of scuba diving time went by so fast that I realized my fear of the ocean was gone. I went scuba diving and snorkeling again in Hawaii and saw sea turtles and dolphins, which made me fall increasingly in love with the ocean world. Through this experience, I realized it is an excellent opportunity to expand our world by trying new things without fear of the unknown. My current goal is to get a scuba diving license and dive in various oceans.
