Done( Card 101)

    This is my fourth semester at North Central College, and these finals have been my busiest finals yet. I am taking four classes this semester and had to write final papers for all of them. I was apprehensive because I had not had many opportunities to write papers before, but thanks to taking card 101 this semester, I could do it with surprisingly low stress.

    The skill I acquired the most from the Card 101 class was how to cite. This was the first time I had a chance to do citations carefully, so I always had vague knowledge. Also, I always used APA for citation, so I needed to figure out how to do MLA. I didn't know the work cited at the end of the page, nor did I know that I needed to write a header. I have had three assignments in card 101 classes, and they always subtracted points for citations. I gained a lot of new skills and knowledge from the card class, and I plan to apply what I learned in future courses.

    Writing a blog every week was hard at first, but as the days went by, it became more and more enjoyable, and now it's a great break for me. I have never been good at writing a weekly diary, but I will try to write a blog every week after this class is over. This class taught me academic skills and the joy of writing.
